Those times you just can’t think of a title.
Tired, tired, tired. Tired. I always hate unoriginal and uninspired titles, but apparently I also specialise in them.
I don’t do anything, almost, and I’m just exhausted. And [the right] half of my throat [and nose and mouth and ear] hurts. And it’s my grandmother’s birthday on my last night here (I’m not sure she knows it’s my last night here), and I’m not invited out for dinner with her and my grandfather and my parents and my aunt and uncle. Which is fine; I don’t mind not going out with them, but I really like spending my last night at home with my family.
Please parse that as [last night at home] [with my family] and not [last night] [at home with my family]. For some reason this matters to me.
The router here is broken, which is a major pain. Especially since I have *no clue* what’s wrong and *no clue* how to fix it. Restarting everything doesn’t work. There is no information on this particular (old) router online. I’m considering just suggesting replacing it with a new one, but this one is 5-port, which we need, and 8-port ones are way more expensive. So I’m not sure.
I’m not sure why I’m writing here, since I (as usual) have absolutely nothing to say. Maybe to try to get me in practice for writing during the semester, when I will presumably have something to say. Then I’ll maybe feel like a real academic blogger. But probably not, since I don’t feel like a real academic, either. But that’s an old story.
