This is not an efficient use of my time
Well, last-minute packing has given way entirely to last-minute tossing stuff into boxes willy-nilly.
I have until, probably, 3. Which should be enough, I hope. It better be enough, anyways. I have random crap in my room left, lots of random crap in the living room, glasses, dishes and food. And there’s one book on tape I’d like to copy. It’s 11 CDs, which means it should take me about 2-3 hours to rip, depending on how quickly I switch CDs. I’ll burn them tonight, but I need to return the originals to the library. Books on tape are th eonly way I can deal with long drives without (human) passengers. And tomorrow I get to see my cats again!
It’s good no one seems to be blogging today (yet); I really need not to procrastinate. Any more than I already am.

Sounds like the way T&G clean their room. You would not believe the things I find in there. Good luck on the long drive. I always eat sunflower seeds.

Oh, god, the random crap stage of packing!
I know it too, too well. You have my sympathies!
Goldfish crackers and those Starbucks mocha-in-a-bottle things are good road food too. (Though the bottle mouth is an awkward size.)
Yay for books on tape.

Aargh! Joining the sympathizers! Hate random crap stage! Also hate the I-really-need-to-copy-rip-transfer-to-MP#-player-etc.-these-CDs-right-before-I-leave stage. Random crap invariably ends up in boxes that get half-unpacked at next place and end up being shoved back into boxes as random crap during next move. CDs on the other hand seem mostly to get finished being copied-ripped-transfered to MP3 player, mysteriously… (Even if at the expense of having the random crap problem deferred to hypothetically being dealt with during next move, not this one.)
