We love parrots! (Except for my grandmother.) My sister wants one, but then we have the “wow, that was awfully expensive for cat food” problem. At least until my cats move out.
We’re now at a count of two missing (temporarily). It’s hard to find a green parrot in the leaves.

Those _are_ cool birds. It’s nice that they’re tame (are they?).
The only way around the cat/bird problem I know of is to get a huge cranky parrot — but then you’re stuck with a huge cranky parrot for 60-plus years!
