Bookly babbling, again
Argh! The new info at Chapters says Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell is only being released in OCTOBER. You are such a liar, Mr. Website. I will need to order you from Amazon.ca, because, well, I am nothing if not terribly impatient.
However! I need to hit 39$ in stuff to buy for free shipping (damn that’s a good racket they have going) and the book is only about 20$. So I must be thinking. Because 6$ in shipping for one single book is just too much. And if I wait until it hits the G&M bestseller list, it’ll be even cheaper. I just need to figure out what else to buy (and if I can wait until, somehow, it’s released properly here and therefore actually becomes a bestseller). I am tempted to do 8 days of Luke and Ella Enchanted.
And my Val McDermid isn’t available in any Montreal-area stores, but I am more willing to wait for that. A little while, anyhow. In good news, another Mallory novel is due at the end of October. Or maybe not so good, cause the last one was so recent. Who knows.
