explode, brain, explode!
Well, guess we’ll see if the database ever starts working again. There were server problems this weekend, but checking now, it seems to be non-functional *again*. Grumble. Whine. Grrrr.
The problem is the person who’s supposed to be maintaining it doesn’t want to be, because we’re supposed to be using a different program, which I don’t have access to for various reasons. That’s not the only problem, really, but it makes it much harder, because it’s always a bit of a frosty reception when I have to share non-workingness. But I am now working on another project at the same time, which is more interesting, and I think less database-needy, so that should be better. Still. And I should be getting the whole actual paperwork about the job soon, I was worried, but I guess I’m okay, since I still seem to be working. And this project is likely to be neat.
I am really tired and this isn’t making much sense.
Update, 10:45 am the next day: working again! Problem wasn’t my fault. It is all good.
