Reminds me of a Pogo cartoon: Churchy La Femme reads a box and exclaims, "I can't eat this -- it's all full of ingrediments!" (sic)

Churchy wasn't complaining about chocolate chips, though.

I've been reluctant to admit it, but I'd much prefer my chocolate chip cookies without the chocolate chips.

But I do very much love those pepperidge farm cookies with the white chocolate + macadamias (Tahoe? I think?). So it's just a bias against normal chocolate chips.

Oh, good, I look forward to the recipes.

I like raw cookie dough without the chocolate chips. But not cooked: that needs chocolate. But the chips need to be good and not cheap storebrand chocolate. My mother just doesn't like food with things in it -- nothing with nuts, no chocolate chips in anything (including ice cream), etc.

I used cinnamon chips in cookies last week. I bet they would be good in scones (like the Starbucks cinnamon scones?) I have ginger chips I've been hanging onto as well, not sure what I want to do with them. Thinking maybe scones again. It might be a month for scones.

And I agree -- good chocolate makes a huge difference.
