What colour
iPod case do I get?
Do I get just one, or two, so that I can make a choice? Or three, because I’m indecisive and can’t choose between pink, blue and purple (the greens are not so nice)? Or do I want one of the sort-of rainbow coloured ones?
Do I get one of the funky cases? What about one of the little sticky skins with 70 zillion designs? (I could even select my own and get a lovely picture of my cats, or one of the many other pictures I have.)
Decisions, decisions. Suggestions welcome, especially from veteran iPod owners.
Until then I’m carrying it around in a sock.

Only get a skin if you’ll leave it on all the time. Is a pain to take on and off. Me, I have the speakers for my iPod and when it was in the skin it wouldn’t set down in the speakers. Bye bye skin. Hello prety pink leather case.

Oh, go with basic white–it’s so, so elegant. I agree with profgrrrrl–go for a color case if you must have color.
Also, when you buy it, you’ll find that it’s copyright protected so that you can only upload MP3s to your iPod from your computer, but not the other way around, but if you check out the web, there are shareware programs that will fascillitate any kind of swapping you might attempt.
Good luck; if you’re anything like me, you won’t see a whit of buyer’s remorse.

I think carrying it around in a sock is a great idea! It’s a way to use all those unpaired socks that accumulate in your sock drawer … um … well … no. Actually it’s only a way to use one of them. I guess I’ll go search other blogs for ways to use the rest.
