Not jumpy, why?
So we have — yay! — an espresso machine at work, which means my coffee expenses have gone down by 2.5 coffees a week (approximately). On the other hand, I am drinking, on average, 3 lattes a day, where at least one of them has 2 shots.
My excuse is that I’m not very good at making the foam so I need to practice.

Perhaps they’ve secretly replaced your coffee with decaf?

It is fun to make, though, isn’t it?

I discovered a few years back that too much coffee does not make me jumpy during the day, nor affect my ability to go to sleep at night. However, it does affect my ability to STAY ASLEEP, something which it took me a long time to draw a link to. I know that I’ve had too much coffee when I wake up every two hours at night.

I don’t really respond to caffeine, except when I’m in withdrawal. But it is lots of fun to make, despite being very poor at making the foam.
Olivia, that’s an interesting thought. I don’t think I have that problem — I think caffeine doesn’t give me energy, keep me up, or interrupt my sleep, cause I almost never wake up every 2 hours — when I do, it’s because I’m watching a movie on infinite loop.
But now I’ll keep track of it.
Today I only had two lattes. And a cup of coffee with breakfast. But still.
