Yay spring!
Today I went for a lovely long walk during “lunch” (I tend to take my lunch just as everyone else gets back from theirs, in part because I am not hungry until 1.30, and in part because it means I get the office to myself for a while, and also get to be misanthropic). It was beautiful and I was wearing fun shoes and I was happy.
Also: I had my first gelato of the season. Mmm, chocolate and hazelnut: you are a a combination of true decadence.

Oh, that does sound tasty.
The timing of my lunch hour is much the same, for about the same reasons. :)

It is *so good*. I learned to love this combination in Italy — and then I found you could buy it here! I make a mean chocolate hazelnut tart, too.

And I like having lunch with people. In theory.

I usually don’t eat lunch with people because I like to eat too early — like 11 a.m.

Mmmm, your gelato sounds better than my coconut sorbet! And although I’m happy for spring to be here, tonight’s predicted 5 to 10 inches of snow does not seem very spring-like, damn it!
