Things getting done!
Academics tend to have to-do lists on their blogs, where they write things like “write book” or “win a grant to go travel for 3 months” or stuff.
Now, I’m not doing anything quite so exciting, but I have been getting quite excited by my lists of things I’ve done.
So why not make a list that I will do, and then I get the joy of having an all-crossed off list? If I can count writing half an email, I can count *anything*.

Ambitious. I would NEVER put “read the newspaper” on my list. For one, I would have to find one worth reading…

That sounds like a fantastic list to me. Seriously.

Oooh. I love that list. I may have to come up with a day for a list like that.

That’s my kind of list!

At this point in the academic year, my list looks something like this:
wake up
think about getting up
get up
rush to get dressed and rush to school
rinse and repeat the next day.
I covet your list.

“Play with the cat” is at the top of my list, too.
Along with doing laundry.

Your list sounds so much better than mine.

My list?
Avoid all responsibility.
I made dinner, however, so I don’t get to cross it off.

It’s a much happier list than the ones that I make after the fact, certainly, though it helps that this is the weekend. Perhaps I will make a Monday list, so we can compare.
