From the department of I wonder why this was languishing in draft status.
I regularly say things like “That firework was really cool” and find it weird, unlike my sister, who regularly says it and thinks it’s entirely normal. And while reading one of the threads on “is it cheaper to eat fast food or make your own?” (which seem to ignore the cost of time, oddly enough) someone said that they’d not say something, because “otherwise they might get another of [earlier poster’s] stinging sarcasms”.
