I am unsure what the song *means*, in the context of the show. I assume something, but then again, maybe nothing.

It is perhaps this creepy because of the way it was used — so effectively! — in that first scene in the first episode. It wasn’t a flashback! It just . . . doesn’t make sense, like the entire rest of the show.

But at least Sawyer is back. Week one without him was painful :-(
