I have lost track of days somehow.
Today is, I don’t know, day 73 zillion of rain in a row. It’s cold now, too, which makes for a particularly dismal month.[1]
But today I am also feeling much better, only a little achy, and I slept 10 hours last night, plus the 3 hours I slept yesterday make for a fairly well-rested me. I am still tired, but I suspect it is because I am still a bit sick. I went out today, and it felt really nice. Even though when I went to the bank, they had not recorded that the money from my sold shares was deposited, money which I need for the down payment. It does show up on online banking, just not on the ATM[2]. I don’t really know what that means. I will find out tomorrow, when I go back. Which is just as well, because I need to change some other options, with my RRSP and GICs and stuff. And my address, I suppose I can change my address now, right? And order cheques? I think that might jinx me. Perhaps next week. I can order the overpriced cheques online anyhow.
Perhaps I should have some of my apple pie. (We always have apple pie for breakfast when we have pie. Well, any fruit pie. Peach is also very good. It’s fruit!)
[1] Of course October has 73 zillion days in it. Even more, since we are only about 2/3 of the way through.[3]
[2] I am not going to take my down payment out at the ATM, obviously. I just checked there so I didn’t need to wait in line to speak to a teller only to find out there was no money there.
[3] Retailers, this second fact means that it is TOO EARLY for Christmas displays and plastic bags with Christmas trees and candy canes on them. Take note.
