A fresh-faced idealistic contractor appears, does what she says she will, shows up on time, and gains a reputation. Soon her calendar is full of jobs, and the inevitable minor delays start to pile up. But she's <i>still</i> making money, and it hurts to back off on booking density. So she keeps on booking full schedules, and occasionally has to blow off jobs.... I think there must be a sort of life-cycle of contractors of that sort, Sheepish. Which is, frankly, crappy. And probably crappier, really. ACW, I think it works that way with doctors also. I quit seeing my old eye doctor because I would need to wait HOURS for my appointment.
