Paint a foot square area and see how it works for you once up. You can usually go to a decent paint/wallpaper store and get tester cans for a few bucks, too, that are enough for the same amount of try-it coverage. (I love local paint stores that feel more like a hardware than a boutique - the mesmerizing clunk-clunk-clunk of the shakers...aah. I've sold my soul to Lowes, but I love the little places, they mix and mis til it's right, daub on the tester and make sure it's all ok before I leave the store...)
