Sigh
I got all my paints. And, sadly, I think I made a mistake with the colour for my bedroom, I want it to be bluer, not so purple. Time to buy new paint! Luckily I like all the others. Unluckily I have discarded all my colour samples. Oh well.
Also, my toilet — my new toilet — is leaking. And I can’t find wherever I put the plumber’s number. Fuck.
Update: found the guy, he’s coming tomorrow in the morning. (He offered tonight, but I am too tired. Also I am going out for coffee, but mostly I am just lazy.)

Remember - paint dries differently on the wall than it looks in the can. Paint a foot square area and see how it works for you once up. You can usually go to a decent paint/wallpaper store and get tester cans for a few bucks, too, that are enough for the same amount of try-it coverage.
(I love local paint stores that feel more like a hardware than a boutique - the mesmerizing clunk-clunk-clunk of the shakers…aah. I’ve sold my soul to Lowes, but I love the little places, they mix and mis til it’s right, daub on the tester and make sure it’s all ok before I leave the store…)

Actually, very few of the places here sell tester cans — or they don’t have more than 12 or so colours. I checked.
