Fold one corner to the opposite corner to make a triangle. Tie it over your face like you're going to rob a bank in a cowboy movie. Then pull it down to your throat. :>
~
If it's too small to do that just tie it around your neck, but loosely.

Or fold it into a triangle and tie it over your hair, like a headband.

Or fold it into a wide band and tie it around your neck--for that chic, French look. Or your wrist, even. I've seen really pretty watches where someone used a scarf or old tie as a watch band. Hell, you could even tie it loosely around the strap of a bag or backpack.

Headbands and me are enemies, yami. And I have a weird aversion to having things around my wrist -- or tight around my neck. (I do not wear watches or turtlenecks, for instance, though mostly a scarf is loose enough, but this one is *small*.)

The bag thing might work, though.

Or hey, long hair = ponytail wrap, maybe. But I think the bag thing is a tried and true way of using small scarves.

Hey, you carry a pocket watch -- is it small enough to use for a watch fob? Tie one corner to your watch and have the other end dangling out of your pocket or purse to pull your watch out with? Or keys, or whatever thing you would rather not have to fish around in the bottom of your pocket or purse to find.

Ponytail wrap might work. Might not -- my hair tends to, uh, dominate. But bag it is, until I manage to think of something else to do.
