This is my comfy chair.

I never get to sit in it.

That’s such a pretty chair! (And, of course, a pretty cat. ;-D) I also really like the color of the walls.

But — but — *I* paid for it! That’s not fair!
I like the colours on my chair and walls. Very spring-like. (My couch is just green, just the colour of Sammy’s eyes.)

And if you ever did, your butt would certainly become as fur-covered as hers is.

btw, that IS a cute chair.
This “paying for stuff” thing…is that how *humans* sort through entitlement? Because it means nothing in cat-centric rights theories.

Cats aren’t concerned about who pays for furniture; all they seem to care about is how comfortable it is. That’s why all my purchases are made with my pets in mind: will I be able to get the cat hair off; will they scratch it; can they get behind it, over it, in it; will it more or less show their hair? The list goes on.
When I bought new endtables last month, I actually told the salesperson that I was looking for something solid so my pets couldn’t crawl under or behind it. Sure, I was interested in the style, color, and size, but being animal proof was the main consideration!

I love the chair!
Does your kitty let you share it sometimes? (With said cat in your lap, of course.)

Does anyone sell any type of kittie-removal device that could be used to liberate your chair?

It is not only cute but *comfortable*. (Just ask Matilda!)
Foolishly, the sofa is velvety — also comfortable, but cat furrier (the stripes here don’t show the fur, which doesn’t tend to land here as much a son the sofa). And it has space under it, because otherwise it wouldn’t fit up to my place (narrow stairs) — both the sofa and chair. And I do get to sit in them occasionally: she’s not big enough to take up both.

[…] The other day I finally did something I’d been planning on doing for months. Yes, I went to Ikea and bought bookcases. Special sale! 20$ each! I also got a side table for my reading chair. I’ve put two of my three bookcases together — they take about half an hour each, and then my hands are all sore. Yes, half an hour is short and it’s silly to complain, but it’s from Ikea. Ikea should be faster and more painless. (The side table took about 3 minutes.) Of course, I’ve only done two of them, despite having really intended to do that third one this evening. But I was at my parents’ house, and then I stayed there, and now I’m home but it’s almost midnight. […]
