On the nice weather that isn’t
I am most of the way through Angel season 1, and I know why I stopped watching it the first time: it seriously sucks. People swear to me it gets better, which I suppose must be true, as it could hardly get *worse*. True, I have 4 and something more seasons to go — if it does get better in season 2 — but I am considering taking a break from it for Veronica Mars, which people swear I will like, and I will be Very Annoyed if it turns out to be otherwise.
Yes, I know it’s summer, but it’s rain for the next ever, so I’m not going outside much. I am barbecuing, anyhow, because nothing says fun like different spice and sauce mixtures. Next up: wood smoker chips thing: as good as I hope? After that: barbecued fruit: tasty or delicious?

barbequed pineapple is BOTH tasty AND delicious!

or I guess I mean barbecued?

Yes, but what about other fruit? Pears and pineapples and strawberriers and peaches . . .
Also, I couldn’t figure out why barbequed looked wrong for ages.

Heh, and here I am on the west coast thinking “if I wanted sunny, 28 degree weather in the middle of May, I’d have stayed out East…”

Where you would have drowned instead of tanning. Especially if you were just a little south of here — have you seen the pictures of NH/ME/MA?
Weather like this — and sunny and hot in BC? — makes me fear *even more* for the future of this planet.

Sunny around here is par for the course this time of year. We really do have the best springs and summers - something I remind myself every winter. Hot, though, is scary. it seldom gets above 25, and now it’s much higher, in May!
I saw pictures of Boston. Shee.

All that matters, really, is that Angel is one hot man. Umm, vampire. Oh, whatever.
