Definitely something eating my strawberries
My almost ripe one was gone this morning! I will need to make a cage or something around it. Why are my strawberries being eaten and not, for example, my raspberries or tomatoes?
Until then, I have a brilliant solution: bring them in every night.

I’m telling you, a long stick is perfect for swatting small mammals away from various forms of fruit.
We grew strawberries when I was a kid. They’d typically get moldy while growing. It was sometimes hard to find un-moldy strawberries… I don’t know what the deal was with that.
I miss non-grocery store produce. It is so much tastier.
