I am ashamed at how very much I am looking forward to the next book. Usually I can forget about them until the leadup till the next sale, but this time, not so much.

Can I admit I sort of hope she kills off Harry?

I think “Dies” is a bit of a missnomer.

You see, what will happen, is Harry and Voldemort will be locked in super powered wizard battle. Their spells will combine causing a reverb of magical energy that will tear appart the entirity of creation. Everyone is dead, everything is gone.

Then, JK will un-do harry’s death by having him wake up as an 11 year old in the cuboard under the stairs. See, he sat up to quickly and conked himself on the noggin and passed out. He then dreamt the whole of harry potter series. There is your mass death, and big “Twist” at the end.

And I better be wrong. Or I will surely be very grumpy.

You know, one day last week I was actually feeling *lonely* without even a date for the release of the new Harry Potter. I might have to start haunting Mugglenet to get my fix. Do you suppose someone will transcribe the interview? I really don’t have a half an hour to listen.

Jesse: heh. Also, if you are right I will hunt you down and kill you. Harry Potter and It Was All A Dream would soon be followed by Harry Potter and the death of JK Rowling.

PS: The transcript. Though the people dying thing was in the first 60 seconds of the interview anyhow, and there’s little else of interest.

I really hope you don’t kill of Harry. It won’t make any sense to kill Harry and let Voldemort take over the world and evil wins forever!
And if you kill both Harry and Voldemort, who will help the witches and wizards?
Well don’t make a stupid decsion! Because trust me, you will not have as much fans as you do now.

1) Who says witches and wizards need help, and who says that Harry is going to help them? Besides exhibiting outstanding courage and hard-headedness, he isn’t really a helpful sort. This has become about revenge for Harry…revenge for his parents, for Cedric, for Dumbledore, and possibly for those yet to die.

2) If Harry dies, it will be TO HELP the wizarding community. Rest assured that Voldemort will not triumph. But nothing is without cost. If the cost is Harry’s life (which I, for one, doubt) then so be it. To sally forth with nonsense about not being a fan anymore is ridiculous.
