That's unbelievable.

Or at least, I wouldn't believe had I not experienced similar service at least twice.

The first time was in a Moroccan restaurant in Paris. I'm sure the waiters were stoned. They took our orders twice (having forgotten what we asked for the first time), then brought out random food unrelated to what we had asked for. The items on the bill were unrelated to either the food we ordered or the food we received. When we pointed this out, they said, 'So don't pay, then. Whatever.' and we left.

The most recent time was last week at a local place. The first four people at our table of six got their meals 45 minutes after we ordered. By the time they were finishing up, the fifth person was just being served. She took three bites of her meal, and then they whisked it away, claiming there had been a mix up and that it wasn't her order after all (looked and tasted like it, though). Fifteen minutes later, they brought an identical dish out to her. Ten minutes after that, mine.

That's hilarious. But you need to warn your readers so we can avoid that restaurant...
