Ooops.
I definitely bought too few bookcases. I should have picked up 2 or 3 more. Bleh. Not sure if they’ll still have any left. Not really wanting to head out there *again*. And yet, is there a point if I am insufficiently bookcased? It will be a lovely corner full of books once I am done. I have probably moved about half of the books — well, maybe less — and two bookcases are full. And remember I need at least a shelf or two to save for library books. And I do buy books as well.
Crap. Ikea it is, then. Too bad I can’t go with Phantom.

Yeah. As opposed to the none (!) I had. I’ll probably pick up the next couple later this week, unless my parents decide they want some for during their renovation, in which case I will consider waiting 2 months. But since I could likely use as many as they have PLUS the two I will buy (or maybe three), who knows.
Good think they’re cheap. But that corner of the place looks so wonderful now, with a comfy chair and a side table and a big window and lots and lots of books. Oh, I love it.

It sounds wonderful and cozy. My bookshelves that were in my former (now occupied by G) office are now sprinkled throughout the house. My Faulkner novels have become the resting place for my drink glass…
