Physical things, electronic shipments
I’ll complain about this again. If you promise shipping within 24 hours after your order is received (24 hours after your order is placed), then “shipping details have been electronically submitted” is not, actually, shipping within 24 hours. (Usually I get something the day after it is really shipped, hurray for the ON-QC corridor.) However, this time I am less irritated, because I received my copy of Magic for Beginners, even though it says it’s not yet available. Guess there’s no chance at getting The Ladies of Grace Adieu early, though. Yes, I have been into pre-ordering lately. (Harry Potter 7, I am looking at you. A release date even. Please!)
Just one bookcase left to put together. And the table. But the table goes into another room altogether and won’t have books on it, so it’s less pressing. One bookcase! Then I get to have all my books available.

I preordered Harry Potter 5 & 6. I got 5 early! Even the mailman was excited when he knocked on my door to give me the book a whole day before I should have received it. It was wonderful. I love getting books early. I got 6 a day late though.

Early? Wow. I’m pretty sure Chapters used to promise the book and/or the shipping free if the book came *late*, though really, I’m not sure that makes up for it.
