No one in particular is a presumptuous asshole. I just wish that sentence were true under the de dicto reading.

It's hard to take seriously anybody who can't communicate in a grammatically correct fashion. That having been said, I'm sorry you hate yourself so much. Really, you're not so bad.

Gee! Talk about pathetic fannish-ness. I may be nuts for BSG but you'll never see me confusing Ron Moore with the gods of entertainment or telling people who express some criticisms of the show that they are insecure, ignorant and hateful!

I'm glad this person has never had cause to hear my opinion of Lost which can be summed up in one word: yawn.

Q, heh. Though if it were, what would I bitch about?

Sheepish, nor actually read what I wrote.

Sheesh, Ancarett. If you don't like Lost, you must be an insecure woman with a weak grasp on your life.

Regarding Lost's roadmap, or lack thereof, there's this piece from Entertainment Weekly by Stephen King after sitting down with the writers. The salient quote being: What was particularly gratifying — to me and, I'd venture, to viewers who want Lost to continue to excel — was to find that Abrams, Lindelof, and Cuse are your basic intuition fliers, mostly disdaining instruments; they favor the old seat-of-the-pants method when it comes to getting home.

This doesn't mean that they don't know where they're going. I sort of think they do. They're letting it come to them a little at a time, though, and that's what keeps Lost fresh. If you didn't see Libby's death coming, join the club. Neither did I. Because, I'd argue, neither did they.

I don't really understand how he fails to see the problem with that.

Wolfa, hah! Hah! Hah hah hah hah.

You should see what some of my fellow BSG fans have called me: the terms thrown at me in one particular post included "mean", "petty" and "stupid". So you're in good company, overall!

Cougar Allen, how very meta of you. Now go turn on the TV before your brain rots!

Seriously. I enjoy Lost, but I am enjoying it less and less every week. (I might be willing to continue just for the scenery, to tell the truth.) And that article is scary, Sheepish. Though I'm with them about concluding rather than hastily finishing when they get cancelled.

Ancarett, to tell the truth, I have *never even seen* BSG. Eventually.

Amen. And Wolfa, you are missing the best show on TV in BSG.

Way late for this topic, but I just read that Lost will start with six new episodes before going on a thirteen-week hiatus and concluding the season with no repeats starting in February. Four months should give me plenty of time to forget all the tiny little details and tantalizing clues that used to make the show intriguing. Good job, ABC schedulers.
