a wolf angel is not a good angel

• sick kitten = no better, no worse, and with an occasional appetite. Still fights like hell against force-feeding and being pilled, which is a good thing. I named her Sadie, by the way;
• black & white kitten (Wilbur) is also sick! Same diarrhea and low appetite, time to start force-feeding her, too;
• solid grey kitten (unnamed, only male in the litter) is sick! Whee! Walks around trying to poo but unable to do it, occasionally gets all droolly and foamy around the mouth. Shivers, but I think that’s after I wash his butt off;
• no openings at the vet till tomorrow;
• some subset of kittens refuse to use the litter box in the office, mostly using the floor near the litter box. I have elected not to give away the old newspapers to the recycling people and instead use them as floor covering — but in any case, the office is stinky and I don’t want to go in there to, say, work — if kittens weren’t so adorable and into sleeping on me, I’d be very annoyed, but in any case when this is over I am not fostering for quite some time;
• my great-uncle (92, 10 years of Alzheimer’s, in a nursing home for many years now) died yesterday;
• it’s cold out all the damn time;

In summary: I hate everyone and everything right now.
