That is depressing. It would be very interesting to find out whether that population considers themselves to be Christian, and to what extent. And if they consider themselves to have had a good education in literature, or not.
Ooo, oliviacw has an excellent point. Because after seeing your poll, I find it amusing that I knew it right away *despite* not being religious.
Actually, I wondered if the writers thought about what that made House by analogy.
They’ve put House in a Christ-like position a few times. I figure the writers are all atheists.
I refuse to believe that the demographics of the people who fill out polls on fox.com is significantly *less* Christian than the country in general. There is no way that under 40% of people are Christian. (I’ll give “that’s familiar but why” a pass.)

Why is it that in an age of increasingly noisy religiosity, fewer and fewer people can be bothered to actually read the Bible?
(I got it right away too, and I’m not religious either. Also: whoah, Wilson, I didn’t think you had it in you…)

I got the “thirty pieces of silver” bit but not the Wilson part. I gather this qas gleaned from House, the television show?
