Yum
Tonight I went for dinner (Indian! preceded by good coffee!), and it was delicious, though we ordered way too much and I am overly full. Still, I was introduced to what must be the best thing ever, chana samosa: a samosa covered with chickpeas, some kind of yogurt sauce and tamarind. Mmm. Except for the fact that the idea of food is really quite unappealing right now because I am so very full. The only problem with this place is that it’s not spicy enough.

Mmmm. That sounds really good. I love Indian food and I’ve never had samosas served that way. I’m going to be in Montreal soon and if I can think of a way to tell my husband about this place without admitting to the blog addiction I might be able to go. What is it called?
I was happy to see your pizza comment at Phantom’s. I didn’t know anyone besides my little family liked pineapple and mushroom. But if you add the brocolli it’s totally a balanced meal. Very healthy. ;-)

Well, it’s not actually on the menu, per se. It’s called Punjab Palace, on Jean Talon (south side) two or three blocks east of l’Acadie. There are a bunch of Indian restaurants in the area, and they’re all really good, though.
Say you were looking up Indian restaurant in Montreal and found this one online? It’s true. Ish.
I don’t like broccoli very much.

Then I won’t force you to eat broccoli. (And thank you for the correct spelling. Love the veggie, can’t spell it.)
Great, I can do some “research” and figure out that there are a bunch of good Indian restaurants near there. I should probably own up to the blog reading and save myself some trouble. But then I’ll lose my “I was too busy to do that chore today” credibility.

It always takes me forever to figure out which spelling is right. That’s the Parc Ex area — well known for good, inexpensive Indian. Mmm. I am only just now no longer hungry.
