People I hate
I almost forgot!
- people who organise piles of things in stores so that only one style/size/colour is easily accessible, and you need to root around for the others;
- people who wear lots of perfume or cologne;
- people who throw their cigarette butts on the ground.
It’s a short list this week.

Oooh, that first one drives me NUTS when shopping. Another problem: the growing trend of clothing stores displaying items on higher hooks that cannot be reached so you MUST get an associate to get one down for you. WTF is up with that?!

The person who wrote this grocery store closed-aisle sign:
The next associate will be only too pleased to help you.

Cheeky, I got a papercut from that this week. Stupid (yet addictive) Ikea. I also hate when I am forced to ask for help. If I want it, I will ask, thank you.
Madeleine, heh. I find it amusing. I don’t see what’s wrong with “cash closed”, though.

people who beat you to the elevator and hear you ask, but don’t hold it for you.

people! who overuse! exclamation! marks!
I swear, I sometimes want to stop volunteering just because I can’t stand the stupid emails!

I don’t mind a few !s. I use them myself. I just dislike emails where every single sentence ends with one, and the sentences that would, in a normal email, end with one ! end with 3 or 4. I guess that means I can gauge how very excited each sentence is, but really: who cares?
I keep wanting to explain to her that this is very unprofessional, and I hope she doesn’t use them in all facets of her writing.
Because it’s very annoying!!!!!
